DUOLINE® Technologies has revolutionized the application of epoxy coatings to the internal and external structure of steel piping used in various industries worldwide. Companies involved in oilfield production, subsea flowlines, high temperature and high pressure gas and fluid transfer systems have to abide by safe and timely production schedules. The standard materials are so highly corrosive the steel tubing used in the field would not last very long without some sort of epoxy coatings in place for added protection. In the past spray on plastics were applied internally to steel piping for protection from corrosion, but this proved only to be a temporary fix. The coatings applied were not universal in thickness or in coverage throughout the entire product. Tiny imperfections could be exploited by the gas and liquids. Overtime these imperfections would grow until there was a complete failure of the piping which would shut down the system, at the very least.
 Duoline's complete line of products solves the problem faced by spray on epoxy coatings. The Duoline protective coatings are created as one long continuous insert made of either GRE or PVC. The insert is permanently cemented to the inside of the pipe with a special mortar and all connections or joints are sealed with special adapter rings. Using piping systems with protective epoxy coatings should be considered a preventative and cost saving measure.
