DUOLINE® Technologies has created and perfected the use of a series of internal and external applications for the creation of a corrosion resistant alloy. These DUOLINE® products can be used in a variety of industries where gas and fluid exchange is vital and necessary. In these working environments the life expectancy of the steel used in moving corrosive materials is much lower than other implementations so the application of a protective barrier that works is essential. The cost of replacing failed downhole production tubing or subsea flowlines is extremely high compared to Duoline's unsurpassed record for prevention of corrosion in very demanding environments. This process of using a GRE or PVC insert has replaced the old spray on protection technique as the most accepted way to create corrosion resistant alloy. As the cost of using corrosion resistant alloy steels such as stainless or titanium have risen, so has the need for a more cost effective way to protect piping in high temperature downhole systems.
