    DUOLINE® may be installed in threaded oilfield tubular goods with nearly any connection option. There are a few general "rules of thumb" regarding connection and connection protection devices for DUOLINE®.

    API threaded connections generally employ the elastomeric DUOLINE® corrosion barrier ring (CBR) that has over 50 years of field history. The elastomeric ring manufactured from a high performance rubber compound ensures proper corrosion protection to the vulnerable connection area.

    Premium connections employ a "T" shaped PTFE CBR with either the DL-Ring system, or the "FGL" variation to common premium threads.

    DUOLINE® 20, manufactured by DUOLINE® Technologies, is a filament-wound Glass-Reinforced Epoxy (GRE) liner which is installed to OCTG in corrosive service. It is widely accepted that GRE lining is a more robust alternative to internal plastic coating. DUOLINE®20 is a very effective corrosion barrier with a long history of tubular protection in a variety of offshore and landbased applications.

    More than 500 hours of tests have been carried out with the DUOLINE® internal lining coupled with DL-RING and VAM® TOP premium connections.
